• 1 lb. hamburger/turkey burger/venison
  • 1 10 oz. box Tinkyada Lasagna noodles
  • 3 14.5 oz. cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • ½ green pepper, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • Few mushrooms, diced
  • Dash of sugar
  • 1 16 oz. container cottage cheese (or Ricotta)
  • 1 8 oz. block mozzarella, shredded
  • 1 TBSP parsley
  • 1 TBSP basil 
  • ½ TSP oregano
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • Salt & Pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place your desired meat mixture in a large skillet. Add in the onions, peppers, and mushrooms. Cook over medium/high heat until brown. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, dash of sugar, spices, garlic, and salt & pepper. Let simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Shred mozzarella cheese and set aside with cottage cheese.

In a 9x13 baking dish, put some of the sauce on bottom. Place 3 of the noodles (uncooked) on the bottom of the dish. Put a layer of cottage cheese, a sprinkle of mozzarella, and a layer of sauce; repeat layers. 

Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove foil and check noodles, should be easily poked with a fork. Remove foil, top with remaining mozzarella cheese and let bake for another 5-10 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes; serve.
